Position: Customer Service Representative
SOS is an industry leader in the levels of service it provides for its customers and we strive to continuously improve. All employees must embrace and support that mission.
This is a part time permanent position. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 11:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Must be available other hours with advance notice.
Each Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a vital role at SOS Office Supply. A CSR is on the front lines of servicing the customer, and is often the most frequent point of contact for our customers. In addition, a CSR assists Outside Sales Representatives by being a source of information and provider of answers for their accounts. Because a CSR’s activities involve coordination between several departments, the CSR also plays a key role in keeping the work environment pleasant and the lines of communication open.
An excellent CSR comes to work each day looking to find ways to service their customers, external and internal. They seek to be excellent in the service they provide and use a positive attitude to accomplish their tasks
- Inbound and outbound telephone experience.
- Excellent external and internal customer relationship building skills.
- Detail oriented and excellent time management skills.
- Excellent computer skills with exceptional data entry abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with individuals from various backgrounds.
- Utilize the highest level of professionalism to provide the best in service levels.
- Bring recommendations for improvement in processes, procedures, policies, etc. to the attention of the Sales Manager or Human Resources.
- A positive and pleasant telephone voice.
- Willing to work assigned schedule.
- Team-oriented and willing to work outside personal comfort level, focusing on what services the customer best.
- Passionate about the work they do and the company for whom they work.
- Proactive with the ability to envision the big picture and think outside the box.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to benefit the organization as a whole.
